Many of my paintings are done in “Plein Air”, a French term meaning “In the Open Air” or as some say, “on location”.  Plein Air is enjoyable and memorable.  I will usually do a small study and may do a larger studio painting at a later date using the study, photos and sketches done that day.  I love to paint and get a great deal of satisfaction when I finish a piece knowing I did my best.  Selling my work gives me the joy of knowing that someone else will enjoy the piece and that it will have a special place in their home for them and others to enjoy.  That’s what it’s all about;  sharing something you’ve created with others.
